It was the decorative accessories, lighting and a variety of finishes from wood stains to paint that inspired the trend in the small Las Vegas home.   Re-organization also played a key role in the transformation.   When our Client first came to us for interior design services, they were wanting a “fresh” look without the necessary hassle and expense of remodeling the home or having to purchase all new furniture.    With two children, two businesses and a 2nd home in California,  this Las Vegas home needed to be simply stated with a few transitional to contemporary features.    The main areas of focus on the first phase of the project were the Family Room, Kitchen, Living and Dining areas.

With changes in a lighter pallet of wall covering and updated cabinet finishes, we chose a striped glass pendant as inspiration for color.   Shades of gray, turquoise blue, subtle sea-green and coral blended beautifully with the existing wood floor and cream porcelain tile.   iridescent blue-green ceramic accessories, chrome lighting fixtures and colorful area rugs provided elegance while toning-down the leather furniture and other items our client did not want to replace.   silhouette window coverings were also replaced in order to welcome natural lighting throughout the many windows within the home.      Pictured below are the before photo’s of the space.   For more information on how to transform your home or business into a “tranquil living” space, please contact us directly by email at
